Melaka Tin Coin, 1445; Tin; Reverse inscription: (Arabic) Nasir Al-Dunia Wa Al-Din ("Success in life and religion").


The earliest known indigenous coins of the Malay States commenced with tin cash, which was first introduced by the fourth Sultan of Melaka, Sultan Muzaffar Shah (1445 - 1459).
